The Petit Train Des Vignobles de Champagne will take you to Chamery, a small Champagne village classified 4 flowers, as well as its vineyard amphitheatre overlooked by forest. It starts from Chamery, then goes through the vineyards to the village of Ecueil located next to Chamery. You can also enjoy explanations about the vineyard, but also the history of champagne and the village of Chamery.
The Petit Train Des Vignobles de Champagne is a closed train, there are no doors, but windows to shelter our passengers in case of bad weather.
La guide était sympathique et c'est bien organisé.
On aurait apprécié aller davantage au coeur des vignobles et que la balade soit plus longue (durée d'un peu plus de 30 minutes).
Il n’y avait pas de dégustation de champagne incluse ou offerte pour un coût additionnel, ce qui est dommage. Peut-être qu'il y avait une autre formule qui aurait permis de faire le train et la dégustation, mais nous n'avons pas eu l'information.
Dommage que nous soyons partis en retard de près de 45 minutes alors qu'il était bien indiqué sur le site que le train partait à l'heure. Cette longue attente d'une heure avec des enfants a été difficile. Et le décalage nous a obligés à abandonner une autre activité prévue la même après midi.
