Located in Verzenay, where the Pinot Noir is king, the origins of this Champagne estate go back to the beginning of the 19th century, where the first bottle of Champagne was produced in 1863.
Different families succeeded one another until 2012 when the keys were entrusted to another family of winemakers from Burgundy: the Labruyère."Harvesting-Handling, we have made the choice to preserve this architectural as well as viticultural jewel by mastering all the stages of viticulture and vinification.
"The wines benefit from a prolonged ageing on lees (at least 3 years) in magnificent vaulted cellars with atypical architecture dating from 1820.
The dosage is made as precise as possible, so that the terroir is fully expressed in the champagnes.A strong choice of a reasoned and uncompromising culture in order to respect fundamental values: terroir, tradition and excellence.HVE3 certified since 2017, the domain is in conversion to Organic Agriculture, whose certification is planned for 2023.
