Set off on an electric bike trip to discover Reims and the Champagne vineyards!
10.30am / Meeting point at Les Crayères
10.30 to 12.30am / We start first with a discovery tour of Reims, exploring the Gallo-Roman period and the Cité des Sacres, including the Saint Remi Basilica and the Notre-Dame Cathedral of Reims. Then we leave the city taking the green roads along the Vesle River canal, heading to our lunch destination. Throughout the tour, the guide comments on Reims historical and cultural patrimony.
12.30 to 2pm / Lunch at the restaurant Le Relais de Sillery
2 to 4pm / The excursion takes us through vineyard paths, we pass through the emblematic villages of Champagne, and enjoy magnificent views of the region. Throughout the tour, the guide comments on the history of the villages, the work of the vineyards, and the biodiversity in Champagne.
4 to 5pm / Cellar visit and tasting at Champagne Michel Tixier, Chigny-les-Roses (Small group visit conducted in English)
5 to 5.45pm / We take the way back to Les Crayères via the small vineyard roads and the greenways of Reims.
