Requirements

130 steps to descend and ascend during the visit, with a temperature of 10°C in the cellars. The tour is not suitable for children under 3 years old. Champagne tasting is prohibited for minors (fruit juices will be offered as a substitute). Only carried animals will be allowed in the cellars. The site is not accessible for individuals with reduced mobility

Good to know:

- Only one tour is offered per time slot. The tasting at the end of the visit varies. Different tasting options can be chosen within the same group: Essential, Iconic Léonie, Iconic Premium, or Sabrage Experience.

The tour involves a walk down and round the cellars with a guide who shares lots of information and facts and figures. She was professional but I felt that nothing about it brought the process to life. There was nothing to see except racks of bottles and a few photos and curios. Also I think some attention should be paid to the fact that not everyone can manage so many stairs easily — if there’s a functioning lift, this could be kindly pointed out.

Educational and fun tour. The guide was really open for our questions so we learned al lot of new things. One of the better ones in the area. I would really recommend to go here
