After a discovery tasting at the wine estate with Valérie, feel like having a lunch break in the fresh air ? Our picnic baskets are made for you ! They contain local products, fresh bread, and Champagne. To be enjoyed on site... or somewhere else, where you want to ! We reserve a place for you indoor in case of bad weather.

Option: a picnic prepared by a chef using fresh products. The conditions : 6 adults minimum, book at least 5 days before, have lunch at the property, 4 adults minimum.

Our picnic baskets each include artisanal terrines, good bread, local chips, mirabelle plums in syrup, Fossier biscuits, all accompanied by champagne (one half-bottle for 2 adults, 1 bottle for 3 to 4 adults).

To be enjoyed on the spot at the Champagne V & G DUPONT where picnic tables are waiting for you, or elsewhere, wherever you like! We can also point you in the direction of some nice picnic areas near us.

NEW ! In 2023, we offer a new option: a picnic prepared by a chef using fresh products. The 2 conditions : book at least a week before, and have lunch at the property.

We booked a picnic for two via the Epernay tourism office. Since the weather was bad, we stayed inside, tasting different champagnes and eating the awesome regional foods that Valerie carefully prepared for us. We talked for over one hour about the awesome work Valerie and Gael are doing to produce organic and ecologically. And also about the inner workings of the champagne world. As third generation of winemakers in the region, they have lots of great stories to tell. Oh, and did I say that their champagne is absolutely fabulous? Much better than a lot of the stuff you find in the famous houses? Definitely worth paying Dupont a visit! We can’t wait to be back.

Valerie Dupont was our host. At our arrival we were given a very friendly welcome by her. Valerie speaks English and French, and spoke English to us the entire time.

Since we arrived rather late for lunch we wanted to have the picnic first and then the tasting, which was no problem for her. The picnic basket was well stocked, with good local products such as baguette, pate, meats, cheese, fruit and of course a small bottle of their own champagne. Valerie had taken my girlfriend’s allergies (corresponded with them beforehand) well into account and double checked with my girlfriend whether she had done it right (she did). Very reassuring!

The tasting was really good! Valerie really took her time with us since we were the only ones there at that time of day. We’d paid for 4 wines each but since she had more bottles open she’d let us taste 6 total each! She of course knew her stuff about champagne and told it very passionately. They were all very nice champagnes and we did decide to leave with a few bottles. She even gave us a 15% discount code for any future (online) orders of their products!

Very impressed with the service and attention we received for the price, definitely do recommend. Since Reuves is rather far away from the largest champagne regions I do recommend you take some time to get there, using the touristic champagne route by car for example (which does go through Reuves).
